Muzium Dan Galeri Seni Bank Negara

On the 1st of June (Saturday) Dynamic Interactive class had a field trip to "Muzium Dan Galeri Seni Bank Negara" for learning purposes.

My first impressions to the museum was that it was very stylish and classy!
I did not expect this from a name like Muzium dan Galeri Seni Bank Negara.

The picture at the top of the page is one of the most memorable pictures.
It was so creepy and whichever direction I walked it was still looking at me.

I don't really think the net generation will share this kind of information because it is not hip or cool enough which I feel is a waste as there are many things to be learnt from this experience.

This is the entrance to Galeri Numismatik

Samples of olden coins

Tangible User Interface for coins

More coins!

Display of items used to put on the currencies!

The third floor of the art gallery at the museum.

We also explored Galeri Bank Negara Malaysia in our spare time.

My favourite part of the gallery the kids section!

And finally the mascot of the museum specially designed for kids!

Questions I would like to ask if possible:
1. How did they come up with the idea to make learning interactive?
2. How did they manage to get children to test for them?
3. How do they promote their museum to target audiences?

To conclude this blog post, I really had a great time and I hope we go for more trips in the coming future!

4 Website Design Tutorials

I really like how they explained how to make a portfolio gallery for your website for this one.
It's very detailed and easy to understand but requires a bit of skill to fully make use of it.

Very nice tutorial on how to make a simple yet nice design with
multiple tabs on the top part of the folder.

This tutorial is on how to make something similar to
the Steam page where they have games and
multiple tabs and options to pick from to see other pictures.

Screenshots on 4 Websites that I like.

Creative People

I really like this website where he tells us what the company is about.
But the one I liked the most was the bearded man.
He also shows nice aligned arrangements of his work after clicking
the portfolio button. And there's a brief description when you highlight
over the work with the mouse.

Modabots

This website is a promotional website for an item called Modabots.
They have easily accessible tabs for users to use and it is user friendly.
By hovering over certain images there will be a movement that will
enlarge the image that you have highlighted with the mouse
so that you can have a clearer view of the image.

The Great Bearded Reef

This website is based on a designers contact and portfolio about
a man and his great bearded reef. He shows who he is and what he's about with
an underwater theme where scrolling down is going deeper and deeper into the
ocean where's there's

Tracy Apps Design

This is another website based on a designers portfolio.
It has a easily accesible bar on the upper right for navigation.
Most of the information is well kept and easy on the eyes as well.
